
The Story of Shaë-Li Studios
Biography

Lashaé Goldson-Li, known professionally as Shaë-Li, is the founder and editor of SHAË-LI STUDIOS. Born of Afro-Jamaican and Chinese descent, she is an aspiring English actress and artist.
Having made her film debut in 2019 in ASP PRODUCTIONS, "Am I Black Enough", she also was able to co-write the film. It tells the story of a young Black female facing the everyday challenges and tribulations of growing up Black in South London. “Am I Black enough”, is based on true events of black youths who do not feel comfortable in their own skin and are ashamed of their unknown rich heritage and empowering ancestry.
In that same year, Shaë-Li also acted in another ASP PRODUCIONS “Both of us" which involves the theme of knife crime, but it is based on a female’s perspective of knife crime and it shows that the use of knives can have a major impact on girls as well as boys.
In September that same year, Shaë-Li joined SAVVY THEATRE and became a young company member and since then has been a part of productions such as "Treasure Island" and “Jack and the Beanstalk”, at the Ashcroft Theatre giving her a chance to explore the theatre side of acting. Adding to that, A Grimms performance was supposed to take place but due to Covid it was cancelled. However, in 2021, Shaë-Li took part in Savvy's week-long intensive programme called "So you want to be an actor?" where she took part in workshops in mask, stage combat, monologues, group work, meeting with industry professionals, one of them being Rachel Heyburn and a final showcase.
◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ Further credits include an ASP Productions short video of "Macbeth", with Shaë-Li playing Witch 1 and a “Young Croydon's" short film about lockdown, where Shaë-Li played the role of Sammie, a young girl who is being bullied online and finds the strength to stand up for herself. In August 2021, Shaë-Li portrayed the role of Sana in the short film, “Replica”, directed by Trey Gittens.
