More than Just an Actress

Art brings a sense of freedom and increases creativity, which allows expression to occur. I started drawing at age 8. One day, I was just relaxing and watching Tracy Beaker and then I remember pausing at the cartoon sequence and I said to myself, "I want to draw that!"

I spent what felt like hours drawing, sketching, reframing it to perfection until i felt my masterpiece was done. for the next two years I did nothing but practice, practice, practice. Sketching, drawing and reframing it to perfection. The more i drew, the more my confidence grew and I could see in myself that success does not come overnight and "If you want something go get it. Period."- Will Smith

Almost 9 years later and my drawings have improved now more than ever. I draw a variety of things; Anime, Manga , places, cartoons, Political matters, Christian friendly but most importantly black representation in the media and everyday life.
